What is YUZ?
Young Urban Zen (YUZ) is a practice group affiliated with the San Francisco Zen Center (SFZC), focused especially on younger adults (roughly ages 20-40), though it welcomes people of all experience levels.
Sessions typically include zazen (sitting meditation) followed by a Dharma talk / discussion.
Dāna (Giving back)
In Buddhism, Dāna refers to a foundational practice of generosity and selfless giving, encompassing acts of kindness, compassion, and offering support of all kinds, from material goods to time, talents, and knowledge.
YUZ is entirely supported by the time of volunteers and your generosity.
Our Venmo handle: @SanFranciscoZenCenter
Please note "YUZ" with your donation
